The main expert of AFRECOM, Chief Fred Nguimè Ekollo ensured the direction of External Relations (including the management of Reputation and Corporate Social Responsibility) at the company Pecten Cameroon Company (subsidiary of the Shell group in Exploration-production hydrocarbons in Cameroon) for 4 years during which :

• he led the development and implementation of the 2006-2010 Social Performance Plan
• developed the Local Content policy,
• set up and launched the Mangrove Program which aims to restore mangrove ecosystems and train communities in alternative opportunities to deforestation of mangroves and overexploitation of fisheries resources, and train communities in the neutralization and economic transformation of the water hyacinth.
